We were lucky; we only had a few sprinkles while we were out and it didn’t pour until later in the day.

The recent rainy period, however, has really turned things green and while the trees are still budding out, the hvitveis (or wood anemone) has created a lovely woodsy carpet to soften the shadowy birch.
