I know I’ve talked about her before but let me say this again: Karen of Beadmarkers is positively brilliant.
Folks, there are a lot of people out there making markers, but I have to tell you that I have seen none to equal Karen’s. I simply cannot say enough positive stuff here. Her markers will not snag, she guarantees her work, they’re priced better than most of what’s out there, and they are downright gorgeous. I gave a batch to the girls in my knitting group and had to laugh the other day when I found some of them had worn their markers as lapel pins. Did I say that she guarantees her markers?
Do you get the idea that I love these markers? And that I really, really like the woman who makes them?
When I asked Karen for some markers to work with lace, she came up with a whole host of options to fit my peculiar particular style and worked with me until we had what I needed. Um, like, lots of what I needed. I now have some 80+ markers. This is just a sampling.
The numbered things? They’re row markers with lobster-claw clasps. Let me say this one more time. If you use markers, collect markers, or are simply into markers, let me suggest you get thee hence—run, don’t walk—to Karen’s.
