Janice is a terrible enabler. Note that I mean that facetiously; she’s absolutely brilliant at it, and I’m convinced that she takes a totally wicked amount of glee in doing so. When she recommended the Oregon shawl because the pattern was easy to follow and remember but it wasn’t something you’d get bored with, I added it to my list because, well, Janice recommended it and those qualities sounded like good things to a new lace knitter. Perfectly logical, right? But somehow none of that provides the same level of volcanic enabling as this post showing the completed shawl!
