It was back asking for food this evening, but it seems to be doing better. No limp, and while the left ear still seems to be at a slightly odd angle, it’s not favoring that side of its head and the fur has grown back. I’m not sure it’s fully recovered, but it’s 100% better than it was, and it didn’t hang around for more than a quick wash after it finished off the tin.

I’m so glad. Sad news here was someone knocking on our door yesterday to ask if we’d seen their 11YO black cat. The same people to whom I’d returned a cat I saw killed on the road about two years ago. I’ve decided I don’t like them.
