I know I promised more in a few days a few several days ago, but you’ll just have to hang in there with me. I’ve reduced my IN box to about 20 mails, but I’m in the last of a stretch of “hell weeks,” and just need to survive for one more week.
This weekend, I have 2 classes which need term papers, final exams, and portfolios marked and term grades figured and turned in. For tomorrow. Tomorrow I have a workshop class which needs their essays commented on, and Tuesday I have a final composition lecture for a group of 200 non-native writers . . . and I’m not at all certain what I want to try and cram into that last 2 hour block of information and insight. Wednesday said 200+ is submitting short argument essays which need responses by Monday, and Thursday is a literature lesson for 4 small groups (less than 20, usually).
I sat down and looked at my workload this term, and somehow I seem to have come up with about 120% . . . I’m an idiot.
My Master Spinner workbook is still sitting in the living room and still waiting for a couple of last pages of notes before it goes into the box, and they’re simply not going to get done this week either.
I DID take a break to ply off some yarn which has been on the Rose for nearly 2 months, and will post that next time. (Plying is easier on the hands than spinning.)
In other words, I promise that I WILL be back. Just hang tight.
In the meantime, here’s a little eye candy . . .

(Somehow, that really should be subtitled “God paints.”)
In one of the buildings at Mesa Verde:
And a hazy shot of the Grand Canyon from the South Rim:
