What a great package! There was method to Mary’s madness, and it matched up perfectly with my own. She couldn’t have done better. See, I’ve sort of dedicated this first year of spinning experience to a first year of learning. With only a couple of exceptions, I’ve bought and traded for a variety of fibers which would allow me to sample as wide a range as possible, with just enough fiber of each to create one project so that I could see how the fiber handles throughout the entire process. But there are a LOT of fibers I’ve wanted to simply *try*, and Mary is giving me the chance to do that with almost no overlap of fiber in my own stash and experience. This is, frankly, absolutely perfect.

I had great fun finding items that you would enjoy. I did wonder whether some of them would be redundant after your trip to the US though. We seem to have thought very much along the same lines about sampling.
