. . . is here. It was record-breakingly slow arriving, but we’ve gotten a fair amount of the white stuff over the past few days. This is the back porch.
For gauge, the railing is about 34 inches tall. The pile of white stuff on top? That’s snow. From within the past few days. Somewhere over the next few days it’s supposed to rain. Then we’ll have a sea of slush. After which it’s supposed to freeze. Now won’t that just be lovely?

Wow, that’s great. Enjoy it until the brown frozen slush happens! I wish we’d have a good snow like that sometime. I grew up in New England and I remember lots of snows like that. The Midwest is different. Oh well.
